- Dampness in buildings is often misdiagnosed.
- Costly and disruptive treatments are not always appropriate.
- Some treatments and products are not always compatible with the age and construction of older buildings.
Our surveys involve testing the areas of concern using electronic moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras and calcium carbide testing equipment (if required). Together with external inspections, we will determine the type, cause and significance of any identified dampness. We will then provide a detailed report (in plain English) confirming our findings and recommendations for any remedial works that may be required (we will consider all available options) and provide helpful budgeting advice- if required.
We will always consider the age and construction of the property.
