Timber Decay / Infestation
TIMBER DECAY AND INFESTATION
Woodworm, fungal decay – wet & dry rot
Timber inspections tailored to your specific requirements:
Typically inspections are to roof timbers, floor timbers and joinery timbers. We may be helping you to determine whether wood- boring beetle “woodworm” infestation is active or whether there is evidence of fungal attack such as wet rot and dry rot.
Dry rot (Serpula lacrymans)
Dry rot can be very destructive and spread considerable distances within an affected property (and even to adjacent properties). It is essential that the cause and full extent of the attack is established and that a thorough treatment plan is created.
We are able to offer a professional surveying and advisory service providing you with all the information you require in order to identify the extent of the problem and to provide you with an appropriate specification and budgeting guide for treatments.
Our survey fees include a comprehensive report in plain English.
